40 Years of Dedication to the IT Industry and a Journey of Resilient Innovation
Kyuhong Park, the CEO of SIT Technology Co., Ltd., is a veteran entrepreneur who has stood at the forefront of South Korea’s IT industry for 40 years. Born in Mungyeong, Gyeongsangbuk-do, he moved to Seoul with a grand vision, eventually entering the professional world where he built a solid foundation in electronic components at Dongil Electric and Samwoo Telecom. Driven by an entrepreneurial spirit, he founded Gyeongil Electronics and Sunin Electronics, marking the beginning of his distinguished career as a CEO.
CEO Park’s journey has been defined by his ability to turn challenges into opportunities. Even during the 1997 IMF financial crisis, he demonstrated exceptional foresight by expanding into distribution and manufacturing. His experience living in the United States allowed him to identify emerging trends in Information and Communication Technology (ICT), which he successfully integrated into his business model. This global perspective helped him scale his ventures into mid-sized enterprises with hundreds of employees and significant annual revenue. Today, he leads SIT Technology Co., Ltd. as a specialized powerhouse in automotive semiconductor distribution and comprehensive IT solutions.
A “Knowledge-Driven Leader” Dedicated to Lifelong Learning and Networking
A defining characteristic of CEO Park is his relentless pursuit of knowledge. He has long emphasized that deep understanding of national policy and a robust professional network are essential for sustainable growth. In addition to earning a Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering, he has completed over ten prestigious executive programs, including the National Policy Program (ACAD) and the Creative Convergence Excellence Program (AIC) at Seoul National University’s Graduate School of Public Administration, as well as the Advanced Industrial Strategy Program (AIP) at Seoul National University’s College of Engineering.
These academic pursuits have translated into significant social contributions. As the President of the SNU AIC Alumni Association and a former Vice Chairman of the Korea Semiconductor Engineering Society, he has shared his “on-the-ground” management expertise with fellow CEOs and innovators. Furthermore, his daily communication channel—providing headline news to over 3,000 opinion leaders—serves as a vital hub for sharing trends and fostering mutual growth.
SIT Technology: An End-to-End Partner Linking Technology and Value
Under CEO Park’s leadership, SIT Technology Co., Ltd. transcends the role of a traditional component supplier. By establishing partnerships with world-leading global makers, the company provides an “End-to-End Total Solution” that encompasses the supply of cutting-edge materials, technical support, and marketing consultancy.
The company’s core strength lies in its robust R&D capabilities. SIT Technology invests heavily in technical solutions to help clients overcome complex engineering challenges and create new value-added business models. CEO Park operates under a management philosophy of “Three Spirits”: Courage to embrace change, Passion to challenge the status quo, and Perseverance to see every project through to completion. Recently, the company relocated its headquarters to the Gwacheon Penta One in the Gwacheon Knowledge Information Town, signaling a new era of innovation and talent acquisition.
Leadership Rooted in Sincerity, Compassion, and Giving Back
CEO Park believes that “Sincerity” is the ultimate foundation of leadership. He often remarks that “if you deconstruct leadership to its core, what remains is Love.” This philosophy is evident in his long-standing commitment to social responsibility, including over 20 years of providing scholarships and engaging in various community service activities.
Beyond the corporate world, he serves as the Vice Chairman of the Anyang City Chapter of the Peaceful Unification Advisory Council and as a mediator for the Anyang Branch of the Suwon District Prosecutors’ Office, contributing to peace and justice in society. Now, as the Representative of the Korea Chapter of the Korean American Chamber of Commerce USA (KACCUSA Korea), he is poised to leverage his extensive network across government, academia, and industry to foster practical cooperation between Korean-American business leaders and Korean enterprises.
With his insightful vision and compassionate heart, CEO Park is dedicated to driving collective prosperity. We invite you to join us in this warm and promising journey with the Korea Chapter of the Korean American Chamber of Commerce USA.
